There are seemingly endless bakery/patisserie options in New York, but Petit Chou is it for me. Their French pastries are on point technically, and the flavors are so creative and fun. You can't really go wrong with anything here, but the chocolate croissant, guava cheesecake danish, double chocolate pistachio danish, and the strawberries and cream bun are standouts for me. I don't live in the city, but I make it a point to stop at Petit Chou every time I'm there.

Delicious bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich with helpful employees. Very small dine-in, the only thing missing is espresso drinks. Will come back another day to try desserts.

Loved this cute little spot! So many cute pastry options but ended up trying this tropical cake. A perfect coconut cake with a pineapple mango compote and a passionfruit curd topping. This was delectable and I would love to go try other goods!

How can I decide on choosing something to sweet a terrible, horrible, no good, extremely bad seventeen (17) years? I have always been enamored for French pastries and sweets as it evoke nostalgia of a previous Paris, France visit of halcyon times. I have always choose chocolate and French macaroons. I have always yearn the good times for the sweet memories shared. I have always mesmerized with my eyes twinkling for the sight of French pastries. I have always believed the sweetness conquer the malevolence in the world. Seating is minimal and no bathroom as Petit Chou does not contain 20 seats or more for the NYC food service establishment requirement. My party of two were delighted as there were pastries, drinks, indoor heating, and most importantly seats and a table ledge. Customer service is attentive and patient as I was very undecided. Decisions! Price is average for 2024 inflation era. Business cards are available for grabs. Chou has been on my Yelp bookmark for a long time and I finally crossing this business from my bucket list. Petit Chou provided me a sweet day's end. My foodie synopsis: Chocolate chip cookie $5.00 It was thick layer of milk chocolate chips that is gooey when bitten and chewy. Delicious. Chocolate croissant $7.50 Made from chocolate dough with chocolate filling and flaky. My friend ended up wearing the flakes on his clothes. Chocolate Eclair $8.00 The filling was full-scale chocolate but not overpowering sweet. Delightful. Jasmine hot tea $2.75 It was served piping hot with a cup sleeve.

Absolutely delicious! We got chocolate chip cookies and the chocolate eclair. Both were exceptional. The eclair was rich and chocolately, a perfect, decadent treat. The cookies were also delicious and rich.

This is a cute bakery. The employees were very attentive and helpful. The pumpkin cheesecake eclair was tasty. Eclair dough is never my favorite, but this was fairly soft and the cream cheese-based filling was a nice twist. I also enjoyed the apple crumb pastry. It had apples wrapped in croissant dough with a cinnamon sugar crumb topping. Hard to go wrong. I warmed it up a bit at home and it was great with a hot tea. Not too sweet and the apples were perfectly prepared.

So many delicious looking things to choose from!!! I asked what the popular choices were and out of the 4 given I went with the blueberry cheesecake. I also ordered the Special Danish. This is a croissant like pastry made with chocolate dough and filled with chocolate and pistachios. It was soooo good! It might be a good thing this place isn't near me; I'd be here way too often! My order cost $17.50 (cash). There's a 4% surcharge if you use a credit card. It's a small space inside but there is some room for 2-3 people to enjoy their desserts there.

Lives up to the hype! Petit Chou has a wide selection of breakfast pastries, eclairs, cakes, and fancy pastries. But you can't go wrong with anything you choose! The cinnamon roll is perfectly gooey with cream cheese frosting, making it a must for every visit. The chocolate croissant was surprisingly untraditional with a chocolate pudding in the center. We tried a few of the breakfast items but will be back get some eclairs.

This place is fire. I mean, absolute juice. I started with the breakfast croissandwich. Insanity. A flattened croissant with BEC??? Please. The croissant was layered beautifully. It was crispy, buttery, savory. So amazing. The egg was fluffy (a little dry), the bacon was juicy and fatty. Just a great sandwich. The aioli it comes served with adds some tang as well which is really nice. Oh, the cinnamon roll was marvelous. Light, chewy, and a scrumptious cream cheese frosting. Doughy, but not too dense. A masterclass of a cinnamon roll. Oh, the cookie. It's a thick one. Chocolatey, chewy, gooey. A well done delight that cannot be skipped. Petit chou puts on a clinic when it comes to dishing out solid baked goods. Whether you're looking for savory, sweet, fruity, or tart, petit chou has something for you!

I was very pleased with my visit to Petit Chou. Every item in the display was absolutely beautiful and had I not just had a lot of desserts at a bridal shower I was just attending I would have sampled more than just the Salted Caramel Eclair. But that's not to say that it wasn't a great dessert itself. I've never had an eclair like this and I think the flavors worked really well together. It is more of a grab and go kind of place as there are only a handful of stools but it we did eat there really quick and it was a nice experience. Quite a few people came in while we were there and the person behind the counter was very patient and helpful with everyone especially the children.
